The plain version of the game is short: two people each mint one key, pair the two keys, and only then does one rig run. One person alone cannot mine at all.
The technical part worth knowing before you pay is the element check. Each .ai ID name hashes to exactly one element, Metal, Wood, Water, Fire or Earth, and that element is fixed by the name itself, so it can be checked before any mint. The site's synergy check shows your element and grades a candidate partner: same element x2.00, generating x1.50, clashing x1.00. Keys carry no second attribute, so the partner question is only about the element match, and every pairing still forms.
