It is the one of the memorable moment of my life. First time I have participated in a Local Hack day. The MLH support is excellent and helps me throughout the whole process from registration to submitting the project. The event started with a opening ceremony with Ryan and the Mary. They explained all the procedure how to participate and submit projects in the devpost and google forms.
In my first day, I had learned how to deploy the GitHub pages to showcase our skills to the client. This session is hosted by Robbie. He explained each steps elaborately. I had followed all the instructions correctly. At the end of the session I am able to deploy my Github page. Checkout my profile at https://github.com/chaudharypraveen98
The next session that I had attended is the Build with the Flask Starter Pack. We had used the flask server to deploy our app with PostgreSQL database. We had faced some issues with the PostgreSQL version but it is sorted at the last.
During this Local Hack Days, I had learned how to work with team and manage all the stuff. Thank MLH for providing such platform. Will join the event in season too. Waiting eagerly.
