Hi Rico :) I don't know Kotlin personally (or Java very well either :) ) - but I've seen a lot of Android developers I know really like Kotlin. From an outside perspective, I guess I'd recommend doing at least a few tutorials in Java first, and then a few in Kotlin, and just see what you like better! From what I understand, Kotlin is really nice, so my guess is you'll like that if you jump in :)
