Skills/Languages

I'm primarily a web developer, so I use lots of JavaScript/TypeScript.

I've used React, Vue, jQuery and many others in the past, but these days I prefer to use Vanilla JavaScript and only pull in other libraries as a last resort.

For the backend I have used Node.js, Ruby, Python, Go and others, with and without frameworks.

I write my code in VS Code on a MacBook Pro.

Currently learning

Currently getting into Rust, going deeper into TypeScript, and dabbling with deno.

Currently hacking on

My main project currently is my 2yo daughter, who takes up a lot of my time!

Other than that I've been making some APIs. I made one for my local library so I can see when my books are due. And a JSON API for gardening tips.
