Verdict
All four announced rules were kept. Twelve buyback swaps inside the window,
spending exactly 0.120000 BNB for 284,418,120.1509 FLAPJAX, and the treasury
never sold FLAPJAX back into the pool. One program day was missed: 2026-10-15.
That is a tally item, not a broken rule — rule (c) caps buys per day, it does not
require one.
| # | announced rule | verdict | evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| a | each buy spends 0.01 BNB | KEPT | all 12 in-window txs carry value = 10000000000000000 wei |
| b | buy-only, never sells FLAPJAX | KEPT | 0 of 31 pool Swap events in the window move FLAPJAX out of the treasury; 0 of 301 outbound FLAPJAX transfers name the pool or the router |
| c | at most one buy per program day, counted in COT | KEPT | 12 buys on 12 distinct COT days; no COT day has two |
| d | skip a buy that would leave the treasury under 0.025 BNB | KEPT (not exercised) | lowest post-buy treasury BNB in the window is 0.03615861, on 10-21 |
Days with a buy: 12 of 13. Days missed: 2026-10-15 (only).
1. The price formula, stated explicitly
The pool is a Uniswap-V3-style concentrated-liquidity pool. Its price is stored in
slot0() as sqrtPriceX96, a Q64.96 fixed-point square root:
raw_price = (sqrtPriceX96 / 2**96) ** 2 # token1 per token0, in RAW units
human_price = raw_price * 10**decimals(token0) / 10**decimals(token1)
Both tokens have 18 decimals, and this is read from the contracts rather than
assumed (decimals() on both returned 18). So 10**18 / 10**18 = 1 and the scaling
cancels:
BNB per FLAPJAX = raw_price if token0 == FLAPJAX
BNB per FLAPJAX = 1 / raw_price if token0 == WBNB
For this pool token0() = FLAPJAX and token1() = WBNB, so BNB per FLAPJAX is
raw_price directly.
The effective price of an actual swap is a different number and is computed
differently — it is what the treasury actually paid, fees and slippage included:
effective_price = BNB_paid / FLAPJAX_received
where BNB is measured in 10**-18 BNB units and FLAPJAX in 10**-18 token units,
both 18 decimals, so the ratio is already human-scaled.
The pool price at the block before the swap is slot0().sqrtPriceX96 read at
block n-1 via eth_call with an explicit block tag. It is not the sqrtPriceX96
inside the Swap event — that field is the price after the swap. Reading the
event field and calling it "the price before" is the easy mistake here, so it was
avoided deliberately.
How each swap was identified
The treasury's buys are Swap events on the pool where the treasury is the
sender or the recipient, with the pool taking WBNB in and paying FLAPJAX
out. Swap deltas are signed from the pool's point of view, so a buy has
amount1 > 0 (WBNB received) and amount0 < 0 (FLAPJAX paid out).
Event signatures were not typed from memory. The pool was scanned unfiltered
over the window and its events classified by shape: Swap is 3 indexed topics with
7 data words on PancakeSwap V3 (Uniswap V3 has 5; PancakeSwap appends two
protocol-fee words). Transfer is 3 indexed topics with 1 data word. Both topic0
values were then read off real logs:

"treasury BNB after" = balance at block n-1 minus the 0.01 BNB sent minus gas paid.
Gas for the 12 buys totals 0.000076458 BNB (127k gas each at ~1 gwei).
Totals
| BNB spent on swaps | 0.120000000 BNB |
| Gas paid | 0.000076458 BNB |
| Total cost | 0.120076458 BNB |

| Blended effective price | 4.219140e-10 BNB per FLAPJAX |
| Swaps | 12 |
Effective price is consistently above the pre-swap pool price by roughly 1.1–1.2%,
which is what the 1% pool fee plus price impact on a small pool looks like. That is
expected, not a finding.

- Days with a buy: 12. Days missed: 1 (2026-10-15).
- The 10-16 buy is the one that could be misread. It executed at
2026-10-17T02:00:51Z, which is 2026-10-16 21:00 COT. Counted in UTC it lands on 10-17; counted in COT, as the rules specify, it belongs to 10-16. Both 10-16 and 10-17 therefore have a buy, and no day has two. - There is no COT day in the window with two buys.
4. Did the treasury ever sell FLAPJAX back into the pool?
No. Three independent checks, all negative:
-
At the pool. All 31
Swapevents the pool emitted inside the window were decoded. The treasury appears in 12 of them, and in every oneamount0(the FLAPJAX leg) is negative — the pool paid FLAPJAX out. There is noSwapwhere the treasury is a party and FLAPJAX flows in. -
At the token. 301 FLAPJAX
Transferevents name the treasury asfromin the wider scan range. Zero of them have the pool asto. Zero have the PancakeSwap router (0x1b81d678…) astoeither, so a sell routed through the router is also excluded. - At the balance. The transfer set is provably complete, so nothing can hide outside it:
balance(treasury, FLAPJAX, block 126576070) = 175,847,089.97555348
+ transfers in during window = 831,614,361.6106179
- transfers out during window = 184,590,000.0000000
= 822,871,451.5861714
balance(treasury, FLAPJAX, block 129070213) = 822,871,451.5861714
residual = 0 wei
A residual of exactly zero means the log set accounts for every FLAPJAX unit that
moved. If any transfer had been missed, the residual would be non-zero.
The 184,590,000 FLAPJAX that left the treasury in the window went to ordinary
wallets in 301 separate transfers (largest counterparties
0x8c062dc5…, 0xa21fc88b…, 0xc8799d53…). None of it went to the pool or the
router, so none of it is a sale.
5. Rule-by-rule
(a) each buy spends 0.01 BNB — KEPT
Every one of the 12 in-window buy transactions has tx.value = 10000000000000000
wei = exactly 0.01 BNB. Not one is 0.009 or 0.011. This is read from
eth_getTransactionByHash, not inferred from the swap amount.
(b) buy-only, never sells FLAPJAX — KEPT
See section 4. Zero sells, proven three ways, including a zero-residual balance
reconciliation.
(c) at most one buy per program day, counted in COT — KEPT
12 buys, 12 distinct COT days, no duplicates. The rule is a ceiling, and the ceiling
was never reached.
But note the related tally fact, which is not a rule violation: 2026-10-15 has no
buy at all. The program was announced as daily, so 10-15 is a missed day. It is
reported here as a miss, not as a break of rule (c).
(d) skip a buy that would leave the treasury under 0.025 BNB — KEPT, not exercised
The lowest treasury BNB balance immediately after any buy in the window is
0.03615861, after the 2026-10-21 buy. The floor is 0.025. The treasury never got
within 0.011 BNB of it, so the skip condition never fired.
Because it never fired, "kept" here is partly vacuous: the rule is consistent with
everything on chain, and no buy violated it, but no buy was ever skipped because of
it. The one skipped day (10-15) cannot be attributed to this rule from chain data
alone — the treasury held ~0.1169 BNB after the 10-14 buy, far above the floor, so a
10-15 buy would not have breached it. Why 10-15 was skipped is not visible on chain.
The treasury balance was declining steadily (0.187 → 0.046 over the 12 buy days) and
was topped up between 10-21 and 10-22, before the 10-22 buy. The top-up is a native
BNB movement, which emits no log; it is visible as a balance change but was not
traced to a source transaction in this audit.
6. Everything that could not be classified
Listed rather than silently dropped.
-
A 547,196,241.4597 FLAPJAX inbound transfer on 2026-10-21, not a buy.
tx
0x74700c92…, block 128,955,685, from0x8e3dc66bb96b063afb932660fb5d060e170cf2cd.tx.value = 0, selector0xa9059cbb(plaintransfer), and the pool emitted noSwapin that transaction. It is FLAPJAX arriving at the treasury from a third party, not a purchase. Any tally that counts "FLAPJAX in" as "a buy" picks this up as a 13th buy with a price of zero, which is wrong. It is excluded here. -
A 0.005 BNB buy on 2026-10-08 18:38:46Z, block 126,493,263, tx
0x3cec62e3…, receiving 12,053,990.7891 FLAPJAX. This is before the window opened (COT 10-08) and is half the announced size. It is not part of the audited tally. Flagged because it shows the size was not 0.01 from the start. -
A 0.01 BNB buy on 2026-10-22 18:26:28Z, block 129,177,690, tx
0x594519c2…, receiving 23,435,077.9716 FLAPJAX. This is the 14th program day and falls outside the requested 10-09…10-21 tally window. It is consistent with rule (a) and is not a violation of anything in the window; it is excluded from the totals above because the window says 10-21. - The reason 2026-10-15 was skipped is not derivable from chain data. No rule explains it (rule (d) would not have fired), so it is recorded as an unexplained missed day rather than attributed to a rule.
-
The BNB top-up between 10-21 and 10-22 (~0.036 → ~0.285 BNB) is visible as a
balance change but not traced, because native BNB transfers emit no event log and
tracing them requires
debug_traceBlock, which the public endpoint in use does not serve.
7. Reproduce this yourself
No private keys, no special tooling. Any public BSC RPC that serves eth_getLogs
will do; free endpoints cap the block range, so the scan must be chunked to ~50,000

Independent cross-check: the scan was run twice by two separate
implementations with different event-identification strategies — one keyed on
FLAPJAX
Transferlogs into the treasury, one keyed on poolSwapevents. Both agree on 12 buys, 0.12 BNB, 284,418,120.1509 FLAPJAX and one missed day. TheSwap-based method is the one reported, because theTransfer-based method produces a false 13th buy from the 547M transfer in item 6.1.
