I built ClipStack, a Chrome extension for clipboard history and reusable text snippets. The idea is simple: the last thing you copied is rarely the thing you actually need, and hunting through notes for a snippet you use every day is a waste.
What it does
- Saves a local history of text you copy, so you can pull an earlier clipboard item back.
- Stores text snippets (addresses, commands, replies, boilerplate) and inserts them when you need them.
- Stays privacy-first. History and snippets live in the browser on your machine. ClipStack does not upload them to a server.
Free and Pro
You can use the core clipboard history and snippets for free.
ClipStack Pro is $2.30, one time — not a subscription. The purchase is on Gumroad:

Install
Microsoft Edge Add-ons is live. Install ClipStack — Clipboard History & Snippets here:
The Chrome Web Store listing is not live yet. Until that listing is public, you can sideload the extension in Chrome, or install ClipStack from Edge Add-ons in Microsoft Edge.
Feedback
If clipboard history or snippets are part of how you work, I would like to hear what is missing: search, pinning, keyboard shortcuts, or something else. Comments and criticism are welcome.
