It depends on what project.
For small site, PHP is still a choice. PHP is also good for fast prototyping for company that does not have enough budget to pay good programmer.
For startup, they might use rust as native nodejs addon, or something like that, depends on the requirement.
We can weigh the scale of the company by the programming language they use.
But like usual. I could be wrong.
