3 Top AI face swap tools, fully tested!

I recently tested three popular AI face swap tools, MagicHour, AIFaceswap, and Remaker AI, to see which one delivers the most realistic and seamless results.
Each platform claims to offer quick swaps and high-quality outputs, but their performance, speed, and usability differ quite a bit. Here’s an honest comparison based on my personal experience using all three.

🎯Price Comparison:

Credits Consumption Comparison

  • ✅If you want low Credits consumption, pay-as-you-go short videos, and no subscription, AIFaceswap is the most flexible and economical choice.

  • ✅If you want the highest cost-efficiency for long-term, high-volume video production and don’t mind subscribing, MagicHour Business is the best choice.

  • ✅Remaker is slightly less cost-effective than AIFaceswap in both price and consumption, so it’s generally not the top choice.

1️⃣MagicHour – Free version is basic, for a better experience you gotta pay

📌Cons (Free users aren’t treated very well. Some annoying stuff):

  • You can only do 5 simple face swaps for free

  • Comes with a watermark

  • Results are a bit blurry

  • Says it takes 5–10 seconds, but honestly it feels way longer

📌Pros (Once you upgrade, things get a bit better)

  • No watermarks, unlimited image face swaps

  • Results are much clearer

  • Supports longer videos and bigger files (up to 1GB)

2️⃣AIFaceswap – Totally enough if you don’t want to pay anything.

📌Cons:

  • The interface feels super outdated, nothing exciting

  • Very few image templates, and honestly kinda ugly

📌Pros:

  • No watermarks – even free users get clean results

  • Free users can do unlimited image face swaps

  • Video face swap supports tons of trending TikTok dance templates – this is my favorite, lol

  • Supports multi-person video face swaps, which I think is a super useful feature

3️⃣Remaker AI – Gotta pay if you want batch features

📌Cons:
Free users aren’t treated well at all:
When you first sign up you only get 2 credits, and just one image face swap already takes 1 credit
Even after upgrading, the max file size is only 500MB
📌Pros

  • Supports two different models – kinda cool, though honestly I didn’t notice much difference

  • Tons of image templates, and most of them are pretty trendy right now

  • Not just batch image face swaps, but also batch video face swaps – first time I’ve seen that

🎯Conclusion

In summary, all three tools — MagicHour, AIFaceswap, and Remaker AI — serve different kinds of users.

  • MagicHour is great for those who don’t mind paying for higher-quality results and longer videos, but the free version is too limited to be practical.

  • AIFaceswap stands out as the most beginner-friendly and budget-conscious option, offering unlimited face swaps, no watermark, and even multi-person video swaps for free.

  • Remaker AI shines with its wide variety of trendy templates and batch processing, but its low free quota and smaller upload limit make it less appealing unless you’re ready to pay.

Overall, if you just want solid results without spending money, AIFaceswap clearly offers the best balance between flexibility, features, and cost.
