That's really odd that you started with VS Code for C# haha, I guess the times are really changing.
I still use Visual Studio at work, primarily because we have to work with massive projects and it definitely does have useful tooling for dealing with these monstrosities. However, VS Code just feels so much snappier and clean.
I was not ready to install Visual Studio because I used it many years ago back when I was still a n00b coder and found it to be too complicated. But now that I'm more experienced and the tooling is much better the experience is quite good in my opinion.
