Dubai Holding Asset Management has broken ground on Lantana Hills, a gated community of 390 townhouses in Dubai Science Park, Al Barsha South, with Group AMANA building under an AED 680 million contract. The three and four bedroom homes are due for handover in the second half of 2027.
Unlike most off-plan launches, Lantana Hills will not be sold unit by unit. It is joining Dubai Holding's managed leasing portfolio, a rare push toward institutional build-to-rent housing in Dubai.
Modular build
Group AMANA is using DuBox modular construction and DuPod bathroom pods, with about 85 percent of the work finished off site. The method is said to cut material waste by up to 30 percent and improve on-site safety by more than 70 percent.
The community sits close to Dubai Hills Mall and Mall of the Emirates, and has earned a LEED for Cities and Communities Silver precertification.
