I've noticed that a lot of jobs on Linkedin at least are smelly. So I have started a simple test with claude.ai to analyze a set of around 90 jobs. Guess what, it seems that only about ~15% seem to have credibility.
Then I've found out from Roberta Storey that from her studies, around half of the jobs are listed on jobs platform, and from this 50% only about 10% get hired. The rest of the jobs are posted through internal network and friendship relations.
So, could it be that staying online is actually getting us further from a job?
