You know exactly what I'm talking about. You’ve spent the last two years grinding through FreeCodeCamp, building React todo apps, deploying basic Node.js APIs to Vercel, and maybe even solving a few LeetCode "Easies." You feel ready to apply for jobs. But when you do, you hit a wall.

Alumni Leverage: They utilize a strong alumni network to get internal referrals for off-campus drives, giving you a massive advantage.
How to Evaluate MCA Colleges for Placements
If you are currently shortlisting colleges for your MCA, stop looking at the campus WiFi speed and start digging into the data. Ask the admissions office:

What was the median salary package last year? (Not the highest).
What percentage of students were placed?
Which companies are recurring recruiters? (If a company visits every year, it means they trust the college's pedagogy).
