Nice intro for beginners! The forking process can be quite daunting if you've never done it before.
Forking is probably the most confusing step in the process 😄
Also don't try to update readmes/licenses, or fix typos in order to "farm" accepted Pull Requests. Nobody is fooled by that, and repository maintainers are sick of getting swarmed by those very-popular PRs. Nice article
