I resist because I don't want to spend all my time in meetings. I want to build things and solve problems. It's a tough choice because I'm sensing that people think I'm not motivated or not good enough when in reality I just love doing the work. I wish my colleagues could be less judgmental and I hope I can continue to grow as an IC.
