Offering Free Mentoring to Participants of the Upcoming KendoReact Free Components Challenge (Limited Time Offer)

For the benefit of those that are not aware of my background, I started as a software developer back in 2005. I first discovered my interests and passion for Telerik's products in early 2006. Since then, I've been able to establish myself as a products expert when it comes to nearly all things Telerik.

Since then, I have also work for and collaborated with the brand for just over a decade. In that time, I have also traveled around Asia Pacific, mentoring and coaching other front-end developers & aspiring UX engineers.

Earning my Reputation & Paying It Forward

Over the years, because of my experiences, I've had the privilege to participate in past contests and hackathons, sometimes by myself and other times as part of a small team of 2-3 devs. And yes, I have won a number of those competitions.

Since then, I found that I have greatly benefitted from the recognitions. Therefore I want to use this opportunity to finally pay it forward. As a front-end dev specialist and someone that is also skilled in UX engineering, I want to offer my mentoring for free to any and all participants of this challenge.

Goal: The goal is to help you be one step closer to winning that prize money.

This sounds amazing! I am really interested in participating but would love some guidance on what kind of project would stand out and what UI elements could make an impact. Would it be possible to discuss this further?

Hey @bilal1718, sure thing. I am happy to have that conversation. I am still new to this platform. But I assume it has some kind of PM function. If not, we could connect via LinkedIn and start a convo there.

Eventually, we can set up a video call.

Hi, so KendoReact is a set of Web UI components that is now available freely for developers to use in their projects. This contest is in conjunction with that release and front-end web developers are welcome to compete in it by submitting a web project (e.g. a simple web app that demonstrates creative and good use of those UI components). Winners will stand a chance to win the prizes as listed in the original article/post.

That is great! If you need any help, bounce ideas off, or get some guidance, I'm always available for a conversation on what you're trying to build.
