I think (havent benchmarked, would love to see one) sublime is still faster when working with large files (replace all and such)

It definitely is, but if I can get fast enough alongside an overall superb developer experience out the box, it's more than worth. Devs are starting to realize that more goes into an editor choice than just speed.

Strongly agree, I'm on pycharm, but sublime is still my text editor (:
