At first glance, the title sounds futuristic.

A global map.

Plants.

Blockchain.

How do these things fit together?

The idea is actually much simpler than it seems.

It's about exploring how technology could create a digital identity for real plants and organize that information in a transparent, open, and community-driven way.

Imagine Every Plant Having Its Own Story

Today, if you buy a plant, you usually know very little about it.

  • Where was it grown?
  • How old is it?
  • What species is it?
  • Has it been cared for properly?

Most of that information is lost over time.

The vision behind the Global Plant Map is to allow each plant to have its own digital profile that can be updated as it grows.

Why a Global Map?

Think about Google Maps.

Instead of showing restaurants or hotels, imagine seeing plants that people have chosen to register.

Each point on the map could include information such as:

And perhaps that's the most exciting part of the entire idea.
