What is work in an open-source economy?

Sometimes it is already completely visible:

Issue → Developer → Commit → Pull Request → Review → Merge

That sequence contains something traditional résumés often don't:

evidence of the actual work.

Now extend the idea.

A contributor solves a MyZubster mission.

The work is reviewed.

Evidence is recorded.

Reputation increases.

If appropriate, a bounty or other compensation mechanism can reward the contribution.

The future labor economy could therefore become increasingly:

Task → Evidence → Verification → Reputation → Reward

This doesn't eliminate companies or employment.

It creates another possibility alongside them:

verifiable contribution-based work.
