πŸŽ‰ MyZubster v3.5.0: NFC Integration, Chameleon Ultra & a New Server

🌿 A New Chapter

August 13, 2026 marks another important milestone for MyZubster.

After a major server outage caused more than 24 hours of downtime, we decided to rebuild the infrastructure and move forward.

The project is back online with a new deployment and a new feature:

NFC integration with Chameleon Ultra.

"The server may go offline, but the project keeps moving." β€” Pytho πŸ‘½

πŸš€ New Server

The new deployment provides the infrastructure for the MyZubster ecosystem:

  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • Node.js 20
  • PM2 process management
  • Gateway API
  • Web Portal
  • Pytho AI
  • MYZ/XMR wallet infrastructure

The goal is simple:

stable infrastructure for an open-source ecosystem.

πŸ“‘ NFC Integration

One of the main features of v3.5.0 is the new NFC layer.

MyZubster can now work with NFC tags for physical identification and registration.

The flow

🌱 Physical Object

This creates a bridge between the physical and digital worlds.

For example:

πŸ“‘ NFC Reader

🌐 MyZubster API
   ↓
πŸ“Š Digital Record
πŸ”§ NFC API

The current API exposes four main endpoints:

Endpoint Method Purpose
/api/nfc/scan POST Scan an NFC tag
/api/nfc/verify POST Verify a tag
/api/nfc/status GET Check reader status
/api/nfc/register POST Register a tag

Example:

curl -X POST http://YOUR_SERVER:3001/api/nfc/scan \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"tagId":"04:12:34:56:78:9A"}'
🌱 NFC + Botanical Registry

This is where NFC becomes interesting.

A physical plant can have a digital identity:

   β”œβ”€β”€ 🏷️ NFC ID
   β”‚
   β”œβ”€β”€ πŸ“ Location

   β”œβ”€β”€ πŸ“š Botanical data
   β”‚
   β”œβ”€β”€ πŸ‘€ Owner
   β”‚
   └── 🌐 MyZubster record

The objective is to make physical objects part of the open ecosystem.

A plant is no longer just a plant.

It can become a verifiable digital object connected to the real world.

πŸ€– Pytho AI

MyZubster also includes Pytho, the AI layer of the ecosystem.

Current capabilities include:

DeepSeek integration
Intent recognition
Conversation memory
Multilingual interaction
API integration

The architecture looks like this:

πŸ’° MYZ + XMR Wallets

MyZubster also includes wallet infrastructure for:

MYZ
XMR
payments
transaction history
community rewards

The larger vision is to connect digital payments with real-world activity.

For example:

🌱 Register a plant

πŸ“‘ Verify NFC
        ↓
βœ… Confirm contribution
        ↓

πŸ™ Franciscan Gardens

Another part of the ecosystem is the Franciscan Gardens project.

The idea is to connect community gardening with open technology.

The system supports:

Garden registration
Plant registration
Volunteer activity
Digital records
MYZ rewards
XMR donations

The first registered garden is:

Orto San Francesco β€” Rimini

πŸ€– AI Companion

MyZubster is also moving beyond software.

The AI Companion project uses an ESP32-based device with:

OLED display
microphone
speaker
Wi-Fi
Pytho AI integration
