No, you took a great analogy for making the subject simpler. The last diagram of the park should suffice to understand if anything is missing.

And by the way how do you make those pictures as notes? I try to put my concepts in notes but I never really understood how the sketches are being used in the blog

I use a drawing app in a tablet. tayasui.com/sketches/ in my particular case.
