Just for those that may be reading this. jQuery UI is still perfectly valid in 2021 as well. This is a happy middle-ground between "vanilla" (where you can do anything) and "framework" (that dictates how your entire visual layout, code, and build systems all work). It slots very nicely and cleanly into countless other back-end systems, or as its own stand-alone thing with static HTML files too.
