Injecting pre-rendered widgets/content

Hi! First time member and post. I had a question that I tried to find an answer for, but likely wasn't searching the right terms.

We have two teams building React experiences. One who is building the core page, and another that owns widget experiences (think carousels that are componentized, have data and specific logic attached). Is there a concept within React of "injecting" these carousels into the body of a page? Does this impact SSR, performance or security?

Many thanks in advance
