I spent my first 20 hours in Palworld catching everything that moved and building a base that looked like a cube. Neither worked. Here is what did.
Early Game Priorities
Catch a Foxparks immediately. Its flamethrower melts early bosses. Get a Nitewing for your first flyer. Rush level 15 for the base upgrade.
Base Building That Works
Flat ground near ore nodes is everything. One ore node near base = infinite metal. Build your mining base before your main base. Pals with level 2+ mining are the bottleneck.
Breeding Core Combos
Anubis is the game-changer: breed a Penking with a Bushi. Anubis has level 4 handiwork and level 3 mining. He replaces half your base Pals.
Boss Order That Makes Sense
Zoe & Grizzbolt → Lily & Lyleen → Axel & Orserk → Marcus & Faleris → Victor & Shadowbeak. You need a Ground type for the first two, Dragon for the middle two, and a strong neutral DPS for Victor.
