Actually I am writing another post on that. Hasura is really secure but you do need to secure your api by clicking the secure api button and adding a secret key and then you just create a public user that can say select from database only or add depending on what you want them to do and of course you can set up admin roles with authentication etc. Think of Hasura as similar to how Firebase works.
