Hosted by Dr Sam Donegan, local Codex Ambassador, the event brought together Melbourne’s developers, students, founders, and builders to explore ideas and tools from OpenAI’s DevDay.
💻 Hands-on building: Time to experiment, turn ideas into projects, and explore what’s possible with AI.
🤝 Community collaboration: Connect with local builders, exchange ideas, and find potential collaborators.
🎤 Project demos: A chance to share what we built, discuss approaches, and learn from each other.
What I liked most was the focus on moving beyond talking about AI to actually building with it. Events like these make the Melbourne tech community such a great place to learn, experiment, and create.
