How to delete a file in terminal on your mac book

1. Open the terminal
2. Navigate to the folder with the file you intend to delete
3. Check that the file you wish to delete is within folder use ls command
4. To delete file type rm fileName.doc - this permantely deletes the file named fileName from your machine
