๐Ÿ“… 30 October 2026 โ€ข EU AMLA and EDPB
AMLA and the EDPB have opened a call for expression of interest: technology providers can apply for one of 12 seats at an online roundtable on 30 November 2026 that will feed practical input into the Joint Guidelines the two authorities are drafting on Partnerships for Information Sharing (PfIS) under Article 75 of the AML Regulation. The deadline for expressions of interest is 13 November 2026 at 23:59 CET, submitted via the EU Survey form. The call was published on 30 October 2026.
The roundtable runs online via Webex in English from 13:30 to 16:30 CET and is open to 12 technology providers, with one representative each. Eligible applicants are providers that currently support operational information-sharing arrangements for AML/CFT purposes. They must demonstrate expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies such as secure multi-party information-sharing and at least one active or completed engagement, pilot or deployment involving participants based in the EU. Expressions of interest are assessed by the joint AMLA and EDPB drafting team after the deadline. Where more eligible providers apply than seats allow, the final selection will comprise the 12 highest-scoring eligible providers, based on demonstrated expertise and a balanced mix of sectors, technical approaches and jurisdictions. Selected providers will receive confirmation, a Webex invitation at least one week before the meeting and discussion questions to consider in advance.
Context: PfIS partnerships will allow obliged entities, and where relevant competent authorities, to share information that is strictly necessary to meet AML/CFT obligations on customer due diligence and on reporting suspicions to Financial Intelligence Units, while meeting data protection requirements. The new information-sharing regime applies from 10 July 2027.
Key figures

IMPACT
Who is affected: regtech and technology providers in the AML/CFT segment, obliged entities planning information-sharing partnerships and FIU practitioners.
What changes: providers get a direct input channel into the Joint Guidelines before the draft is fixed, but only 12 seats are available, so selection is competitive and non-selected providers must rely on the later public consultation.
Timeline: EOI deadline 13 November 2026, roundtable 30 November 2026, full public consultation on the draft Joint Guidelines with a hearing expected in H1 2027, regime application from 10 July 2027.
Risks: AMLA states the roundtable is not a public consultation, so missing the 13 November deadline leaves only the H1 2027 consultation route, and applications that fail the eligibility tests are not scored.
