I'm not well-versed enough to make a solid recommendation outside of that book, but I think it's the best place to start for folks like us, much like Erika Hall's Just Enough Research and Erin Kissane's Elements of Content Strategy, also from A Book Apart. The three are probably great companion works to get a handle on a lot of the non-code aspects of the work we do.
