Hola Monica (Hi Monica, I wrote this sentence in Spanish due to your bio :))

Thanks for sharing your retrospective from your first app. Discovering new languages is hard, so hard, even if you're a backend developer and know a lot of languages (almost all based on C syntax).

I'm seeing reflected in your post because when I started as a developer, I faced the same thoughts about my skills ("I'm a fraud; I'll be fired tomorrow because my pace is so slow"), but after a few years and improvement of soft skills (or behavioral skills), I become a better developer and person.

Your first iteration as a solo developer has many learnings, and it's good to see your estimation failed because estimations are the hard part of being a PM or PO: we can't see the future, and it's hard to anticipate problems: in your case, the problem to displaying in "human format" the data from the API.

Keep going, and as Agile proposed: do a retrospective to improve our internal working... this is your retrospective :)

See you =)

Hola Dennis,

Gracias por sus amables palabras :)

This was 100% a learning experience and I'm looking forward to experimenting with different ideas to help myself improve my dev skill and my confidence in those skills!

I'll be working on a react app soon so stay tuned for that retro.
