Sorry to be so blunt. Are the popular posts the best though? Impressions don't always equate to quality. There are a large number of unnoticed devs here I wish would get more spotlight. Hoping to see more surfaced in lieu of the typical trendy stuff.
P.S. I mean no harm buy saying this. I just wish it was less about numbers and more about drive and willingness to share.
Hi Andy — We definitely take a look at a number of different factors when curating these lists :)
Impressions certainly aren't the only factors in the posts we pick! We aim for a variety of different topics, backgrounds of community members, writing styles, and try to award authors that haven't been picked for this list previously. This week's authors were all first-time Top 7 authors, for instance
