Hi everyone! I learned how to code through all of the articles and tutorials on sites just like this one. I recently broke free of the crippling decision about what language and framework are considered the "best". Spoiler alert for all the other newbies like myself, it's a very debated subject...

I started with python and Django and quickly came to a standstill wondering how to get parts of the page to change without refreshing the browser. Hello React and Javascript! But wait, what's JSX and how is it different from regular JS? Should I use Vue or Angular instead? What's the difference between a framework and a library? It goes on and on...

Recently, I've been sticking with Python, Django, JS, Angular, and some Bootstrap. I came to this decision after looking through the job listings in my area and seeing those pop up the most. My focus has now been geared towards building a strong portfolio and writing about why the framework I chose was the right one for the project.

Do you guys have any tips/suggestions for getting hired as a web developer without a computer science degree?
