Just joined in, exploring this wonderful community. I’m both excited and a little intimidated to introduce myself! While I’m not a developer by profession, I’m no stranger to coding concepts. I’ve recently started reconnecting with development through no-code tools, and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster: frustration and delight all packed into a single day!!
What I lack in hands-on experience, I make up for with curiosity, fear and a strong desire to build things that are both useful and fun. I’m here to learn, stretch myself, and hopefully bring a few cool projects to life along the way. Looking forward to learning with all of you!

I'm new to Dev.to but not new to the struggle of turning backtested trading strategies into live systems. I've been working in quant finance for a while and got tired of the endless refactoring needed to go from backtest to production.
Just launched a tool that bridges this gap, it connects popular backtesting frameworks (backtrader, zipline, vectorbt) directly to live brokers with zero code changes. Took it from idea to 1,300 downloads in two days, which has been wild!
What brought me here is wanting to share more about the technical challenges of real-time trading systems and learn from this awesome dev community.
Currently learning more about developer marketing (clearly needed 😅) and always interested in discussing Python performance optimization, especially for time-series data.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow devs, especially anyone working in fintech or dealing with real-time data processing!
