"Your team sleeps while ours ships" only works if the handoff is a ritual.
A time-zone gap isn't automatically an advantage — unmanaged, it's a tax: day-long question latency, duplicated work, lost context.
What turns it into progress:
Written end-of-day summary — moved / blocked / next.
Shared board — the single source of truth.
Clear ownership of the next task — the baton is handed, not dropped.
Do it → wake up to progress. Skip it → wake up to lost context. The advantage was never the clock; it's the handoff.
