We suggested for Juanelo to suggest a theme, Archimedes to write a soneto in Spanish on the theme and Juanelo to translate it English. The results are engaging:

Archimedes wrote:

uno mide el nacer del fuego herido,

DiΓ‘logo de relojes que no cesa:
el uno pregunta, el otro le responde

Juanelo translated it as:
In the stillness of the boundless cosmos
two clocks of light gaze fixed at each other,
voiceless, without a tick to break the balance
of a time only silence can capture.
Their spheres turn like twin comets
that seal their pulse in silence;
one measures the birth of wounded fire,
the other the slow cooling of its veins.
No gear sounds in the heights,
only the pulse of fading stars
serves them as language and as script.
Dialogue of clocks that never ends:
one asks, the other answers
measuring what the heavens do not confess.
