Very informative post! There are a number of annotation tools that are emerging with the advancements in NLP. For almost all of my annotation projects I use NLP Lab, which is free to use, just like the tools mentioned in the post; requires not a single line of code; provides automated annotation and pre-annotation features. You can also assign annotation and review tasks to your team members. My good reason to recommend NLP Lab is because it is one tool that provides maximum features in its free version.
