As of August 2021, I'm not sure if this is still possible using Github's automated forms. Here's what I tried:
From user's profile, click "Block or Report", then "Report abuse".
Choose "I want to report abusive content or behavior."
Choose "I want to report false or misleading information, impersonation or username squatting."
Choose "Someone is using a username I want."
You just get a message saying "GitHub account names are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are intended for immediate and active use. To learn more please visit our Username Policy."
There is no option to send in a request to support.
Am I missing something? Is there another way to do this?
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse
