Hello, input testing can be a bit tricky, because there are tons of values, with Naughty Keyboard we can easily input "problematic" data into field with one shortcut, if you like the tool, feel free to give it a star :-)
How to Test Form Validation with Edge Cases
After launching the app and skipping the welcome window we can see the "default" app window with the shortcut list:
If we will click alt + shit + space we can open the packs list:
Depending on what we are testing we can choose the pack
Let's say I want to test money input field, I had chosen the "money and separator packs", then I just need to focus on the input field and push alt + shift + + n and the value will be written, or I can copy the value.
There are tons of values (208 right now), let's say we are testing files names:
the "." is a hidden file, ".." is moving us up in the Linux You can read more about values in the tool here. I had tired to keep the tutorial as simple as it could be, it all depends on what we are testing,
