XWX AI Chat Exporter v2.0.0: From 5 to 12 Platforms. Here is What Changed.

Last week, XWX AI Chat Exporter hit v2.0.0. The biggest update since launch: 7 new platforms, bringing the total from 5 to 12.

A few months ago, I wrote about using this extension to export conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Grok. It was my go-to tool for saving AI conversations across those five platforms.

Now it supports 12 platforms. Here is what is new.

The Original 5 (Still Great)

  • ChatGPT — Still the most popular AI platform
  • Claude — Still best for deep analysis and writing
  • Gemini — Still best for multimodal work
  • DeepSeek — Still great for quick coding tasks
  • Grok — Still best for real-time information

The 7 New Platforms in v2.0.0

  • Microsoft Copilot — The enterprise AI that is quietly everywhere
  • Perplexity — The AI search engine that is replacing Google for many
  • GitHub Copilot — The AI coding assistant that lives in your IDE
  • Google AI Studio — Google's developer playground for Gemini models
  • Cursor — The AI-first code editor that is taking over
  • Janitor AI — The creative roleplay platform with a massive community
  • Character.AI — The AI character platform with millions of users

Why This Matters

Before v2.0.0, if you used Cursor, Copilot, or Perplexity, you needed a separate export solution (usually manual copy-paste). Now one extension covers all 12 platforms.

The workflow is the same across all platforms: click the floating button, select messages using the click-anywhere mode, choose your format (PDF, Markdown, Word, TXT, JSON, or Clipboard), and download.

My Favorite v2.0.0 Feature: Notion Integration

You can now export directly to Notion. No more intermediate files. Click export, pick Notion, and your conversation appears in your workspace with perfect formatting.

For anyone who uses Notion as their knowledge base (like I do), this is a game-changer.

Other v2.0.0 Highlights

  • Batch Export — Export multiple conversations at once
  • Custom Export Settings — Configure format, naming, and folders per platform
  • Dark Mode — Full dark mode support
  • Multi-Language Support — UI in multiple languages
  • API Access — Programmatic export for developers
  • Custom CSS — Customize export styling

The Bottom Line

If you use AI across multiple platforms (and you probably do), having one consistent export tool for all of them is incredibly valuable. v2.0.0 makes that tool cover 12 platforms instead of 5.

The extension is free for non-PDF formats (unlimited). PDF exports include 3 free per day, with Pro available for heavier users.

How many AI platforms do you use? Would a unified export tool save you time?
