Most storage platforms feel great until the bill shows up. Seats, bandwidth charges, and “enterprise tiers” eat your wallet.
ClovaLink is an open-source, Rust-based, multi-tenant file system that runs self-hosted. It gives full data-residency control, works with S3-compatible storage, and has been shown to scale to ~10,000 users on a low-cost VPS with stable performance.
The architecture focuses on tenant isolation and lightweight background workers, so features stay intact without the upsell of sharing, permissions, audit logs, expiring links, branding, encryption options, and an API.
In testing, deployments have reported 80–95% lower infrastructure costs compared to major SaaS storage — while keeping functionality and control.
