Last night I went to a pool party and a dog stole my seat in the wood fire. Nice dog, super chill… but I’m like 99% sure he literally thought he was a person.
He sat down really upright in that weird way dogs sometimes do, and instead of looking at any of the people there… was watching the bonfire.
I think he noticed me staring, because he looked over at me, then right back to the blaze.
