Day 1035 : Closer

liner notes:

  • Professional : Not a bad day today. Had a team meeting. Watched the recording of another meeting that happened super early in the morning outside of my working hours. I tested the project that I uploaded to the GitHub repo in Stackblitz and it worked! Did some more research into a project I'll be working on this quarter. Also started writing a new blog post.

  • Personal : Last night I went through Bandcamp to pick out some projects that I'll pick up this week and post about on Friday. It's going to be Bandcamp Friday, so I'll buy them then so that artists get more from each sale. I was able to get writing to a file in GitHub working in my side project. That's good. Now I need to figure out what to do about Environment Variables. Normally, I would put them in a .env file, but my plan is for people to be able to set up hosting for the project to be able to push changes to the repo and that would update the project wherever it is hosted. Previously, the projects were hosted at one provider and I used their dashboard to input the environment variables, but I wanted to open up the options in this version. I'll have to do some more research, but other than that, I think I can make this work. I'm getting closer. Ended the night watching the latest episode of "Agatha All Along".

A panoramic view of rolling hills and valleys in the Central Highlands, Czech Republic at sunset. The sun is setting behind the hills, casting a golden glow over the landscape. There are a few clouds in the sky, creating a dramatic contrast to the bright colors of the sunset.

Going to finish up the Bandcamp posts for tomorrow as well as go through tracks for the radio show. Also going to spend some time researching this environment variable situation for my side project. Just remembered that there's a movie of "Spy x Family" that came out and need to watch. Probably do that before calling it a night.

Have a great night!
