Day 1112 : Sugar Coating

liner notes:

  • Saturday : Left a little earlier than normal for the station because I had a couple of stops to make to return some stuff. Made it to the school around the normal time, but there were a bunch of events happening on campus and trying to find parking was nearly impossible. I kept driving around like a vulture trying to find a parking space. haha It doesn't help that there is a lot of construction happening so a lot of spaces have been blocked off. I was finally able to get on in the parking lot I normally park in and made it to the station in time to set up and do the show. Had a great time as usual. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com

  • Sunday : Pretty productive day over at https://untilit.works . I printed a couple of prototypes of a model I've been working on. Put some wheels on the printer enclosure and they kind of work, but they kind of lean too far in certain positions and it stops moving. Need to figure out something. Paid some bills. Not a bad day.

  • Professional : Got up super early for a meeting. We went over slides for an upcoming online event and tested out the platform. I went back to sleep and got up in time for a team meeting and another one with my manager. Spent the rest of the day updating dependencies, responding to community questions, and other random tasks. Trying to clear my plate so I can have a long period of time dedicated to coding a project.

  • Personal : Been going back and forth with the folks who will be pressing the vinyl. There's a lot of steps apparently just to get access to portal so you can place your order. It already takes like 8-10 weeks just to get the records. haha Hoping I can make the down payment, get access and place the order by the end of tomorrow. Been thinking through the extras that will come with the limited edition and printing prototypes.

Made some more modifications to the this 3D model that I'll be printing right after posting this blog post. The prototypes print pretty quickly so I can iterate fast. The model will probably have to be built in parts. There's no sugar coating it. Going to do it little by little. Going to work on that and start putting together tracks for the radio show. Still haven't watched "Invincible", "Spider-man animation", and I think an anime I watched before is coming back out, plus I think "Daredevil" is starting up tomorrow. Going to try and start watching some episodes. Watching some animation may get me in the mood to do some sketching.

Have a great night!

peace piece
