Professional : Today flew by! Started with a few meetings in the morning / afternoon. The rest of the day, I was working on this AI application. It's different from creating a regular Web application. Normally, when I input something, I get the same output. When I input something into an AI/LLM, what comes back is almost random. haha I'm hoping that the LLM will understand what I ask and choose the right MCP tool to do the task. Spent quite a bit of time fiddling with the system prompt. It seems like the more specific I get, the more the LLM will ramble about random topics. haha.
Personal : I've decided that I'm going to use Firebase storage in my application that I've been working on. I'm already using Firestore and Firebase Authentication so it makes sense, because I'm also looking to incorporate Firebase AI logic. Did a bunch of research and have determined that it probably the fastest way to get these applications completed.
Going to go through Bandcamp and pick up some projects and get the social media posts ready to post on Friday. Oh, and during my lunch break, I finally set up the UV printer that I got a few weeks ago. I don't know what my hesitation was. Maybe because a few days ago, I saw a video of a guy whose machine was broken and it had me on edge as I was setting it up. Luckily it all went smoothly and I printed a couple of items and they came out amazing! I'm already thinking of all the things I'm going to make with it. I'm going to remake the samples I created for a client and show them the new versions in the web application I'm building. Everything all fits together. haha The UV printer will also be used in another offering that I want to make available to clients and I've started working on that application previously. I am SO HAPPY that it's working out so far! Going to get to work.
