Professional : Pretty productive day. Started putting together the workshop that I'll be giving later this week in Barcelona. The framework I put together is still holding up and I was able to get the workshop up and running pretty quickly. I started adding the example applications and making sure they work. My next step is to work backwards and put together the steps. I made an outline of the things I want to include in the workshop. Had a meeting with the team that will be in Barcelona with me to talk about the event. Spent the rest of the day working on the workshop. I think I might be able to add a couple of more example apps.
Personal : Last night, I ironed and packed the clothes for this trip and went through some tracks for the radio show this week and put together the playlist. Added some finishing touches to the 2nd starter application for this hackathon and tested it to make sure it worked.
I made some of the items for the order that came into https://HIPHOP.family and packed it up to ship later this week. When I get back, I'm hoping my laser is here so I can send the rest of the items. My co-host just emailed me his segment for this week's show so I'm going to finish putting that together. I want to at least get the tracks on my tablet and add the playlist to the document I use. I can always do the social media stuff while at the airport or on the flight. I also want to pack my backpack with my laptops, cameras and other tech items. After that, going to work on my workshop and get a first draft ready so that the other folks on the team can test it out and get me some feedback. Cool thing is that since I basically code online, I can pack up the laptops I'm taking with me and still work on my projects on another computer that is staying here. I'm out. Going to eat dinner and get to work. I'll be travelling for the next week so I won't be posting here. I'm so behind on posting at https://Dwane.in but I'm going to try and get some shots and videos of Barcelona added. Sidenote: Looks like the at one-point-in-time free tiles I used in the map on my site must have been purchased by a company or something because now the tiles say I need an API Key. May be time to redesign the site because this is like the second time it happened if I remember correctly. Now that AI is a thing, I may ask it ideas and alternatives so I don't have to go through this again. I was also thinking about adding a search and maybe WebMCP and Prompt API integration so you can chat with the avatar version of me to get details on trips or something. We'll see.
