CLAT Registration 2026

CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For UG Law (5-Year Integrated LL.B):
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination.

Minimum marks required: 45% for General/OBC, 40% for SC/ST categories.

Students appearing in Class 12 exams in 2026 are also eligible.

There is no upper age limit.

For PG Law (LL.M.):
Applicants must hold an LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.

Minimum marks: 50% for General/OBC, 45% for SC/ST candidates.

Final-year law students can also apply.

CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The CLAT 2026 Exam will be conducted in offline mode and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

For UG CLAT:
Total Questions: 120

Duration: 2 Hours

Sections: English Language, Current Affairs (including GK), Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques

Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer

For PG CLAT:
Objective-type questions on core law subjects

Some universities may conduct additional admission rounds based on CLAT PG scores
