I'm a backend engineer mainly working on game servers, with Java as my primary language.
Over the years, I've spent a lot of time building and debugging backend systems, and recently I've been digging deeper into concurrency, I/O, logging, and performance.
Working on game servers has taught me that many problems look simple at first, but become surprisingly complicated once the system gets busy.
I'll be sharing some of the things I've learned from real-world systems, including experiments, benchmarks, design decisions, and a few open-source projects I'm working on.
