Once operational, however, the continuous demand becomes the more pressing concern: approximately 3 million liters flow through cooling infrastructure each day to manage the intense heat generated by thousands of processors running intensive machine learning workloads.

Even more concerning is the waste component embedded in these figures. The cooling process itself is inherently lossy, with approximately 1.5 percent of daily water consumption lost through drift, evaporation, and blowdown (the intentional discharge of concentrated mineral water to prevent system fouling). This seemingly modest percentage translates to roughly 45,000 liters of water vapor and discharge daily from a single facility.
