In 2020 I read a total of 79 books - 78 in English, and one in Japanese. With a burst of last-minute reading in December, I managed to just shoot p...

Heck yeah! That's a lotta reading and really appreciate the micro-reviews. Bookmarked — might need to check this out between reads!
Thanks Michael!
Some of those sound really interesting, especially Educated and The Golem.
I've been holding off reading Go Set A Watchman because of the rumours and reviews. I really enjoyed Mockingbird when I was a kid, but I don't think I want to spoil it by reading this.
In general, I don't read anything like enough, and I regret it all the time. I think I set my target at 100 or so and then end up reading 5. It's not because I lack time, either.
So well done on reading so many interesting things!
Also: added :)
Thankyou, added you back! I hope you'll get to read more this year 🤞
Wow! This is great. I have a goal of reading 40 books this year last year I did 20. I agree that social media takes a lot of our time and some of what we consume is not even beneficial or positive. Following you on Goodread :)
Congrats on 20 books! Still a great achievement. I've followed you back 😃
Wow, 75 books! I only read 15 last year, but my goal is to read at least 30 this year. I love reading as well, especially in the evenings before bed. I read Educated in 2019 and absolutely loved it. :) Best of luck on your reading goal for this year!
Thanks Ruanna! Good luck on your reading goal as well!
Thats awesome I think I need to get into Goodreads I don't use it but always have tough time finding my next books.
Goodreads can be a bit of a mixed bag, sometimes I do question how some books have 4+ star ratings 😂 Another good place to look is book awards. If you're into a specific genre, like sci-fi or fantasy, there's yearly awards like the
Arthur C. Clarke Award or the World Fantasy Award, sometimes I'll scroll through the awards list and see what books have won in recent years.
