Over a decade ago I had the need for a simple logger to facilitate running tests at night, logging stacktraces with curly braces and without crashing at midnight with no way to opt-out of a midnight rollover feature. Simple not clever. Last year I shared it on NuGet and GitHub.
Earlier this month Google AI made some demonstrably false statements. The screenshots show:
A) doggedly denying the existence of a NuGet package
B) acknowledging that its claims about the package being a malicious threat were a fabrication
C) categorically denying my existence as a person even while acknowledging fabrications
Reality check: I do exist. The ZeroFrictionLogger package exists on NuGet. Source code is available on GitHub. The unit tests shared on GitHub have tested, demonstrated and documented its functionality. And after locally updating to xunit.v3.core all 115 xUnit tests are still passing today.
A neighbor called it a declaration of death. I disagree. Google AI has since stopped showing me the nonsense you can see in the screenshots.
A mate confirmed minutes ago Google AI now focusses on fitness equipment, which is way better than fabricated nonsense about the OSS package.
Did not see this coming. Any other OSS maintainers experiencing Google AI stepping on the rake?
