Excel Formulas to Check register balance in Excel 365!!

Generic Formula

  • To check register balance, you have to use the following formula.
=balance-debit+credit

Syntax Explanation

  • Plus operator (+) – This symbol is used to add the values.
  • Minus Operator (-) – This symbol will help to subtract any two values.

Practical Examples

  • For instance, you have to create a sample data in Excel.

  • To generate basic outline numbering, you need to use the following formula in formula bar.
=balance-debit+credit

  • Then, you have to Hit the Enter key to get the result as shown below in the cell G6.
